Yuvraj Singh with Rocky

A true fighter is one who never gives up despite the mounting obstacles that comes one's way and Kings XI Punjab batsman Yuvraj Singh is an epitome of a fighter. The left-handed swashbuckler, who was diagnosed with cancer after winning the 2011 World Cup with India, battled the disease and came out with flying colours.

The 36-year old batsman has been an inspiration as all his battle with cancer came at a time when Yuvraj was at the peak of his career, but despite all the odds, he overcame the life threatening disease and opened a foundation called YOUWECAN to help cancer patients.

Recently, Yuvraj met a young fan named Rocky, an 11-year old who is diagnosed with Cancer. For the young child, his idol was Yuvraj Singh and the power-hitter made his dream come true by meeting the fan.

The Kings XI Punjab official Twitter handle posted some heartwarming pictures of a young child, meeting his idol.

"11-year-old Rocky, who's suffering from cancer met with his idol @YUVSTRONG12 who spent some time with the young champ."

Here are some wishes for a speedy recovery that followed the post.

As reports suggest, Rocky is suffering from blood cancer for 10 years. Yuvraj met Rocky before he was being admitted to the hospital for a bone marrow implant.

Ahead of Kings XI Punjab's clash with Kolkata Knight Riders at the Holkar stadium in Indore, Yuvraj won the young fan's heart and the internets as well.
