Hardik Pandya trolled by cricket fans after taking to Instagram

Team India all-rounder Hardik Pandya was at the receiving end of some brutal trolling after he uploaded a picture on Instagram. The 24-year old was all suited and booted in black, but apparently, the cricket fans bashed the cricketer for his performances on-field.

India trail the five-match Test rubber 0-2 and have been under some heavy criticism for their performances and lack of competitiveness after they were hammered in the Lord's Test, losing by an innings and 159 runs.

The one-sided affair at Lord's has brought the Virat Kohli led team plenty of flak relating to their team selection, batting line-up and failure to read the conditions.

The all-rounder has had a disappointing tour so far with the bat and ball. In Birmingham, Pandya failed to pick up a wicket and scored 22 and 31 in the two innings he played. In the 2nd Test at Lord's, he had a figure of 3/66 and scored 11 and 26 runs in the two innings.

Eventually, Pandya's decision to post a picture on Instagram came with consequences as the fans didn't hesitate to diss the all-rounder for his performances. Take a look.

The Indian team batsmen have been advised to pull up their socks as they face England in a must-win clash at Trent Bridge, a place known as James Anderson and Stuart Broad's hunting ground. If England win the 3rd Test, they will clinch the five-match series, with two to spare.

The batting unit has let down India once again, with KL Rahul, Murali Vijay, Ajinkya Rahane and Dinesh Karthik failing to deliver, leaving skipper Kohli to handle matters.

India will face England in the penultimate 3rd Test at Trent Bridge, Nottingham which begins on August 18 (Saturday).
