IND vs NZ 2nd ODI: India win toss, choose to field first

India’s limited over skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and has elected to field first in the second ODI against New Zealand at the Ferozshah Kotla stadium in New Delhi today.

Earlier on Sunday, team India began the five-match ODI series against the Kiwis with a comfortable six-wicket win in Dharamsala.

Sent into bat in the last ODI, New Zealand bowled out for just 190 with 37 balls still remaining in their innings.

India chased down the 191-run target with six wickets to spare.

Hardik Pandya who made his international debut was adjudged the man of the match for his superb bowling effort, claiming 3/31.

In the batting department, Ajinkya Rahane, Virat Kohli, Manish Pandey and Dhoni had decent starts in the last game and are expected to score big runs in the second game too.

Meanwhile, Suresh Raina was kept out of the second ODI as the southpaw is still recovering from a bout of viral fever.

The visitors have made three changes. Trent Boult, Matt Henry and Anton Devcich were included leaving out Doug Bracewell, James Neesham and Ish Sodhi.
