The Indian cricket team has landed on English soil in the quest for their third ICC ODI World Cup trophy. Team India will lock horns with New Zealand in their first warm-up game before the big-ticket tournament commence.

Ahead of the World Cup, many cricket critics have identified Hardik Pandya as the X-factor from India's World Cup squad and looking to his current form the 25-year-old is ready to unleash at the big stage.

It is going to be a crucial tournament for Pandya as playing a World Cup is always a dream for any cricketer across the globe.

On Friday, Pandya took to Twitter to share a nostalgic moment when he cheered for Team India after 2011 World Cup glory along with his current photo with teammates MS Dhoni, Shikhar Dhawan and Jasprit Bumrah.

"From cheering and celebrating India’s World Cup triumph in 2011 to representing #TeamIndia in World Cup 2019, it has been a dream come true #cwc19" Pandya wrote on his Twitter post.

Earlier, the flamboyant allrounder was seen chilling with India World squad in an event in England ahead of the warm-up game against New Zealand at Oval on Saturday.

Former Indian cricketer and World Cup winner Virender Sehwag also heaped praises for the allrounder as he thinks is one that has become irreplaceable in recent times.

"There is no one even closer to Hardik Pandya's talent with both bat and ball. If there was someone even closer to him, the three-dimensional players picked by BCCI, were even closer to him, Pandya would not have made it back into the team," Sehwag told 'Cricketnext' website.
