England’s Barmy Army ridicules David Warner and Australia on Twitter, brands them 'cheats'

David Warner and Steve Smith are all set to make their return in international cricket with World Cup in England after completing one year ban for the ball-tampering scandal. Warner and Smith both have performed exceedingly well for their franchisees in IPL to prove their worth.

The ghosts of their past are still haunting the Australian cricketers as England cricket fan group ‘Barmy Army’ which is known for it's attacking and sharp views, took a dig on Warner and his teammates on social media.

Barmy Army posted a collage of photoshopped images of Australian players- Warner, Nathan Lyon and Mitchell Starc. On top of the collage, Lyon and Starc are carrying 'sandpapers' in their hand. While in the Warner photo they photoshopped his Australian jersey and wrote word 'Cheats' in the center of it.

The fan club took a dig on Cricket Australia and wrote," @cricketcomau release their #CWC19 player portraits!"

It was expected from the English fans to get brutally harsh on Aussies cricketers during World Cup 2019 and it's just the start from them.

Australian coach Justin Langer speaks to SEN Sports radio late on Thursday and said the team is ready for England’s ‘siege’.

“We’re ready for it. If we’re under siege the second we get off the plane, we’re ready for it,” he said.

“The World Cup might be a bit different to start off, but certainly once the Ashes kicks off there will be plenty of commentaries,” Langer added.

Warner was in supreme form during IPL 2019 and scored 692 runs in just 12 games and is the prime contender to win the Orange Cap despite playing the lesser number of games than the other players.
