The Delhi & District Cricket Association is the governing body of cricket activities in Delhi and the Delhi cricket team. The DDCA is affiliated to the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). The DDCA is an established and recognised cricket body as their teams play in premier tournaments and first-class cricket around the country. History beckons as Delhi cricket's first-ever open elections will take place and will be held under the watch of Delhi High Court-appointed administrator Justice Vikramjit Sen, a retired Supreme Court Judge. And for the elections, E-voting will be done to ensure that there is no attempt to manipulate the votes and results. The proxy system of voting has been done away with and after June 30th, a new president of the DDCA will be declared. Mr. Rajat Sharma, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of India's top Hindi news channel India TV, is contesting for the post of DDCA President. Mr. Sharma's team includes Rakesh Bansal who will fight for the post of Vice President, Vinod Tihara (Secretary), Om Prakash Sharma(Treasurer) and Rajan Manchanda (Joint Secretary).

The Delhi & District Cricket Associations will have their first open elections this season and a new President will be elected through a new voting system.

The Delhi & District Cricket Associations Elections will begin from June 30.

The Delhi & District Cricket Association President will be elected through E-voting. The proxy voting system has been done away with as administered by Justice Vikramjit Sen.
