Ravindra Jadeja once again proved why he belongs in Team India

Ravindra Jadeja has always been known for his all-round performances and this time, he notched it up a bit as a brilliant piece of fielding got India a crucial wicket during the finals of the Asia Cup 2018 in Dubai. (IND vs BAN Live Scores & Updates)

It was during the 28th over when Spinner Yuzvendra Chahal tossed up the ball in line of the stumps, and centurion Liton Das drives it hard towards extra cover. Jadeja moves to his left in a flash and dives full length to stop the ball.

Liton is guilty of ball watching as Mithun hares towards him without the batsman on strike even knowing.

Liton is guilty of ball watching as Mithun hares towards him. Jadeja shaped up to aim at the keeper's end but spots that both the batsmen are at the same end and hence, has the presence of mind to throw it back to Chahal who takes the bails off. (Live Scorecard)

Within a flash of five seconds, Jadeja makes a magnificent stop, throws the ball to Chahal and Mithun is sent back to the pavilion. However, at the time, Liton was on 95. It would have been quite unfortunate if the opener made the run.

And as usual, it doesn't take long before Twitter goes gaga over Jadeja and now they just can't stop praising the all-rounder. Take a look.

The all-rounder once again proved his metal and gives all a reason as to why he still belongs in white-ball cricket. The Saurashtra all-rounder makes his return to ODI cricket nearly after a year and came in as Hardik Pandya's replacement who earlier in India's opening match injured his back.
