A win at Nottingham gives India a chance to remain alive in the five-match Test series as they still trail 1-2 and will now shift their focus onto the 4th Test at Southampton.

India won the 3rd Test at Trent Bridge, Birmingham

After four and a half days of dominance, India finally managed to scrape the bottom of the barrel to add a win to their name in the five-match series. The Virat Kohli led Team India crushed hosts England to win the 3rd Test by 203 runs at Trent Bridge, Nottingham. (IND vs ENG 3rd Test Highlights)

Starting with Virat Kohli 23rd Test century, Ajinkya Rahane, Cheteshwar Pujara and Hardik Pandya's fifties, the batting line-up finally put the pedal to the metal and powered through the English attacking unit at Trent Bridge, an area which was one of Stuart Broad and James Anderson's hunting grounds. Coming to the bowling unit, the bowlers collected all 20 wickets, with the help of Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah's five-wicket hauls. Shami, Ishant and Ashwin had also contributed with their spells. 

A win at Nottingham gives India a chance to remain alive in the five-match Test series as they still trail 1-2.

After the match, the Team India players took to social media to react on their win at Nottingham, which comes for India after 11 years. 

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar took to Twitter to laud Team India's performance and grit and personally congratulate Bumrah on his five-wicket haul. His caption reads,'Fabulous spell of fast bowling by @jaspritbumrah93. A good fightback by #TeamIndia with every player contributing. #ENGvIND'

Indian skipper Virat Kohli, who was adjudged as the 'Man of the Match' for scoring his 23rd Test century, praised the team's efforts. His caption reads,'Top performance by the boys! Amazing game and a great win.'

Earlier, Kohli dedicated his performance to the victims of the Kerala Floods. "We, as a team, want to dedicate this win to the flood victims in Kerala. This is our bit we can do as the Indian cricket team." Read to know more.

Bumrah, who played his fourth Test match, picked up his second five-wicket haul. His caption reads,'Team work makes the dream work. Brilliant team effort to clinch the win and a fifer to cherish forever.'

India's Test specialist Cheteshwar Pujara also took to Twitter to celebrate India's win at Trent Bridge.

Team India coach labels India's performance as 'clinical' and rates it as one of the best after Johannesburg Test (India tour of South Africa, 3rd Test).

The BCCI will announce a new squad for the remainder of the 2 Tests, but for now, the Indian cricket team have a week's rest before they take on England in the 4th Test at The Rose Bowl, Southampton.
