In the country which is famous for producing fast bowlers, Shadab Khan chose to be a turner of the ball with his leg break bowling. Shadab started his career on an outstanding note against the West Indies team in T20I where he thrashed the opposition batting line-up by picking three wickets for just seven runs. At a very Young age, Shadab made a name for himself in International cricket and Pakistan team considered him as player for the future prospect. In 2016/17 Pakistan Super League, he performed exceptionally to grab the selectors eyeballs.

Pakistan Cricket Team has announced its squad for the ODI World Cup. Babar Azam has been given the command of the team and Shadab Khan has been made the vice-captain. Pakistan's match against India in the World Cup will be played on October 14 at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
