Shiv Sena Executive President Uddhav Thackeray opposed Union Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar's suggestion that Muslims should be included in housing schemes for poor.

Uddhav who was here to inaugurate developmental works to be carried out by Nashik Municipal Corporation, told a public meeting last night that including Muslims in housing schemes would create problems related to caste.

Pawar in a public rally has said that Muslims should also be considered in housing schemes for poor in Maharashtra.

Commenting on row between IPL commissioner Lalit Modi and Union minister of state for external affairs Shashi Tharur over IPL Kochi team, Uddhav said government was playing drama over the issue.

Uddhav also criticised Pawar saying the minister is often seen busy with issues related to cricket more than his ministry. PTI
