Indore: It seems the chairs on which narendra Modi sits in his different rallies have become precious for his die-hard fans as they are willing to spend lakhs to buy these chairs.
The chair on which BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi sat during an election rally in Indore has attracted a bid of Rs 2 lakh, according to the local unit of the party.
Over two dozen people contacted the local BJP office to buy the chair and the highest bidder quoted Rs 2 lakh for it. However, the piece of furniture in question was not up for sale, BJP Indore unit president Shankar Lalwani said.
"So far, I have been contacted by around 30 persons to purchase this chair. The highest bid quoted was Rs two lakh. But this chair is not for sale," Lalwani told reporters.
