Daman: Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP's prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi today exhorted the electorate of Daman to throw out the ' mother-son' govt that, according to him, has ruined the nation.
Addressing an election meeting at Daman, Modi said, “This Mother-Son duo has ruined the nation. I used to come here to seek votes for others. Today I am here to seek votes for myself.”
“Since Daman is a Union territory and not a part of Gujarat, I could not get the opportunity to serve you. And for that, I'll have to go straightaway to Delhi,” added Modi.
Modi assured the people of Daman that he will ensure solution to all their problems, be it question of fishermen, infrastructure or tourism.
Modi is also scheduled to address rallies in his home state of Gujarat and the UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
In Gujarat, Modi will be addressing rallies in Mahuva, Karjan and Rajkot.
In Dadra & Nagar Haveli, he will be addressing rally in Silvassa.
