New Delhi: The Election Commission Wednesday issued notice to AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal for organising a meeting without permission at Rajghat here Tuesday.
"A show-cause notice has been issued to Arvind Kejriwal for conducting a meeting at the Rajghat without permission from the poll panel," Niharika Rai, district election officer, east Delhi, told IANS.
"Kejriwal has been asked to reply to the notice by Thursday morning and give the reasons why was the poll panel and the police not informed in advance about the meeting," she added.
