Mumbai: Nationalist Congress Party supremo and Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar has lashed out at the Aam Aadmi Party, saying he wished AAP had come to power in Delhi and show how prices of onions, vegetables and electricity could be reduced.
Writing in his Marathi blog, Pawar said, 'Only then will the public know the truth about AAP campaigns and false promises they made in Delhi.'
"I wish AAP come to power in Delhi and I would like to see AAP bringing down prices of onions, vegetables and electricity", blogged the Maratha political heavyweight.
Pawar also tweted: "AAP made false promises. Reducing onion prices to half etc. I wish they should have got majority.
"Anger of younger generation reflected in four states. We all, including congress will have to take serious note of their anger."
"People need strong, decisive and result oriented rulers who will implement programs with firmness."
