New Delhi, Nov 23: Both houses of Parliament were adjourned till noon today soon after they met for the day.
Left and BJP members demanded discussion on FDI in multi-brand retail under Rule 184 which entails voting, but the government wanted no voting and only a special discussion under Rules 193.
As the Speaker wanted to go through the Question Hour, the opposition members became unrelenting.
Both the houses were adjourned by the presiding officers till noon.
