Govt leaving no stone unturned in providing affordable and quality healthcare, says PM Modi

On the occasion of World Health Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that his government is trying its best to provide quality healthcare to the people which is both accessible as well as affordable.

On the occasion of World Health Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi today said that his government is trying its best to provide quality healthcare to the people which is both accessible as well as affordable.

“On #WorldHealthDay, I pray that you are blessed with wonderful health, which gives you the opportunity to pursue your dreams & excel,” he tweeted. 

“When it comes to healthcare, our Government is leaving no stone unturned to provide quality healthcare that is accessible & affordable,” he added. 

In this context, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also recalled the National Health Policy 2017 , recently approved by the union cabinet. 

 

PM Modi also tweeted the link to a story on his website (narendramodi.in) that gave details of the National Health Policy 2017.

In another tweet, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that ‘depression’ is  the theme of this year’s  World Health Day and he shared the audio link of his previous Mann Ki Baat broadcast in which he had shared his views on the subject.
