New Delhi: A day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi publically snubbed Subramanian Swamy for questioning the patriotism of the outgoing RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan (Who Swamy always referred to as R3), the senior BJP leader took to twitter today to express his disappointment.

"The world is in general equilibrium. A small change in one parameter effects changes in all variables. So Krishna advised: Sukh Dukhe...." Swamy posted on twitter this morning.

The shloka has been taken from ‘Bhagwad Gita’ in which Lord Krishna advised Arjuna to remain calm and maintain a detached attitude while facing both joy and disappointment in life.

The full shloka reads likes this:

Sukha dukha same kritva labha alabho jaya ajayau I

Tatah yuddhaya yujyasva na evam papam avapsyasi II

On Monday, while responding to personal attacks made on Rajan,  PM Modi without mentioning Swamy directly  had said in an interview, "Whether that person is in my party or not, still I think such things are inappropriate. This fondness for publicity is never going to do any good to the nation. People should conduct themselves with utmost responsibility. If anybody considers himself above the system, it is wrong”.

It seems Swamy did not expect PM Modi to publically snub him on the issue of Raghuram Rajan.

Political observers, however, point out that Swamy may not hold back his guns for a long time, if his political history is any indication.
