The woman, who accused Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Amanatullah Khan of sexually harassing her, has levelled fresh allegations on the legislator.
The victim, who had on Sunday recorded her statement before a local court here and also submitted a CD and a pen drive to the police with a recording of her conversation with Khan, has alleged that she was molested at least five times, once in a lift, in the last one-and-a-half-years.
She further said that Khan had approached her several times even in the presence of her husband.
After a discord with her husband, who now stays with his parents in Aligarh, the woman said she stayed in Shaheen Bagh. She currently runs a boutique to earn a livelihood for her daughter and herself.
When she apprised her husband about the incident that she was approached by Khan, her husband told her to do as Khan asked since he has been helping him in his businesses.
A few days ago, she said Khan came to her boutique and verbally abused her.
He also threatened the two women employees and forced them to leave the job.
The victim has now sought police protection as the MLA’s men have been threatening her since she filed an FIR against him at Jamia Nagar police station.
Khan, who is presently out on bail, is booked under Section 354 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), Section 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman) Section 506 (criminal intimidation) Section 498 A (relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty) and criminal conspiracy.
