PM Modi addresses rally in Cuttack
Prime Minister Narendra Modi today addressed a rally in Odisha's Cuttack . The prime minister gave details of the work done by his government in last four years.
Launching a broadside against the Congress, the prime minister said that the party followed the policy of "family first" during its 48-year long rule.
Taking a jibe at the Nehru-Gandhi family, the prime minister said that his government was guided by "janmat" and not "Janpath".
PM Modi counted various schemes launched by his government and said that Jan Dhan Yojana is a big hit and it has led to every family having at least one bank account today.
The Narendra Modi government completes 4 years in power on Saturday and the Bharatiya Janata Party has planned a fortnight-long programme to mark the occasion. Modi took over as prime minister on May 26, 2014 after the BJP won an overwhelming majority winning 282 seats alone.
The ruling party has also come up with a new slogan - 'Saaf Niyat, Sahi Vikas' - as it attempts to prepare ground for the big test in 2019.

While PM Modi himself addressed a public gathering in Odisha's Cuttack , BJP president Amit Shah shared central government's achievements with the media personnels in the morning.
All ministers -- both from the Centre and BJP-ruled states, MPs, MLAs, mayors and all other office-bearers of the party will reach out to personalities or experts or influential people across the country, BJP general secretary Arun Singh said in a letter.
Besides mega events in Delhi, regional press meets are also being planned in 40 cities, between May 29 and June 3, to showcase the government's achievements of the past four years.

Congress plans 'Betrayal Day'
While the ruling BJP is planning mega celebrations on the 4th anniversary of Modi rule, the main Opposition Congress said it will observe May 26 as Vishwasghat Diwas or Betrayal Day.
The Congress will hold press conferences in 20 different cities, including New Delhi to observe 'Betrayal Day. Top party leaders Gulam Nabi Azad, Ashok Gehlot and Rajdeep Surjewala will be leading the protest against BJP-led NDA government.
