In a bizarre stat, several legendary players from the past, despite being star bowlers for their respective sides, have been unable to surpass Sachin Tendulkar's tally of ODI fifers. Let us have a look at five such players with fewer ODI fifers than Tendulkar.
5. Former legendary Pakistan skipper Imran Khan is widely revered as one of the greatest all-rounders to have played the game. Throughout his career, he played a total of 175 ODIs, where he took 182 wickets. He claimed one five-wicket haul in his ODI career, one less than that of India's Sachin Tendulkar.

4. The late great Shane Warne is undoubtedly one of the greatest bowlers of all time, the king of spin from Australia was a formidable opponent for any batter in world cricket in his prime. In the 194 ODIs that he played, Warne took a total of 293 wickets, claiming one five-wicket haul, just one short of Sachin Tendulkar's tally.

3. Former Pakistan spinner Mushtaq Ahmed is another legendary bowler with fewer five-wicket hauls in ODI cricket than Sachin Tendulkar. It is worth noting that Mushtaq Ahmed played a total of 144 ODIs in his career, where he took 161 wickets and only claimed one fifer as compared to Sachin's two.

2. Former India skipper and World Cup winner Kapil Dev is also one of the greatest all-rounders to ever play for India. Playing a whopping 225 ODIs throughout his career, Kapil Dev took 253 wickets to his name but only claimed one fifer, whereas Sachin Tendulkar has two fifers to his name in ODI cricket.
