After the aarti, the VVIP guests moved to Nadesar Palace for a cultural programme and dinner with a select band of distinguished citizens of Varanasi. Immediately after that, they left for the airport on their way to Delhi.
After 12 minute Ganga stuti, the two PMs occupied their seats on the special platform from where they had a vantage view of the aarti.
Amid chanting of slokas, Modi and Abe offered flowers and a rose garland on the banks of the river.
