Modi seeks blessings at Mata Vaishno Devi shrine

Narendra Modi, the BJP's prime ministerial candidate today offered prayers at the Vaishno Devi shrine in Jammu, before addressing a rally in Hiranagar town of Kathua district, a few kilometres from the Indo Pak border.

Modi tweeted a picture of him astride a white horse on his way to the cave shrine and said, Jai Mata Di! On way to Vaishno Devi from Sanjichhat .

Modi proceeds towards 'Bhawan' to seek blessings of Godess Vaishno.

He waves at other devotees while proceeding towards the Bhawan'.

Modi hops on horse to reach to Bhavan, as he had less time, therefore he opted for horse to cover the remaining distance.

Horse man helps him to sit on the horse.
