The weather in Himachal Pradesh took a turn as snowfall and rainfall brought the famous tourist destination to still. The weather department has predicted rain and snowfall in the coming days which could reduce the temperature due to western disturbance.
Hundreds of tourists were stuck in traffic jams in Himachal Pradesh's Manali after tribal areas and other higher reaches in Solang Valley received light snowfall.

Several other regions also saw intermittent light rainfall. While Nahan and Manali received moderate rains, Sarahan received the highest rainfall. The IMD has predicted rains and snowfall due to western disturbances due to which the temperature is likely to dip further.

Long queues of vehicles were seen as roads were blocked after snowfall. A fortnight earlier, a similar situation emerged in Himachal Pradesh between Solanga and Rohtang.

Back then, nearly 1,000 vehicles were stuck and the Atal Tunnel was completely blocked. Hundreds of people were rescued by the administration.
