Tourists stuck in long queues of cars after light snowfall, rainfall in Manali | Pics

The weather in Himachal Pradesh took a turn as snowfall and rainfall brought the famous tourist destination to still. The weather department has predicted rain and snowfall in the coming days which could reduce the temperature due to western disturbance.

Several other regions also saw intermittent light rainfall. While Nahan and Manali received moderate rains, Sarahan received the highest rainfall. The IMD has predicted rains and snowfall due to western disturbances due to which the temperature is likely to dip further.

Long queues of vehicles were seen as roads were blocked after snowfall. A fortnight earlier, a similar situation emerged in Himachal Pradesh between Solanga and Rohtang.

The tourist influx increases in Himachal Pradesh every winter as snowfall over the top of hilly regions becomes a key attraction. Tourists come to enjoy skiing, paragliding and other amusing activities.
