Mumbai rains: High tide spills nearly 361 tonnes of garbage along Marine Drive| See pictures

High tide over the last two days washed ashore a whopping 361 tonnes of garbage along the Marine Drive promenade. BMC officials said that over two dozen labourers, a big compactor vehicle and two mini dumpers were deployed to clear the mess. The BMC managed to collect 226 tonne of the total garbage from just the 10 kilometre interconnected stretch of Juhu and Versova beaches.
