Assembly elections in Rajasthan are scheduled to be held in single phase on December 7, 2018. Results for Rajasthan Assembly elections 2018 will be declared on December 11.

  • Vasundhara Raje, who is the current Chief Minister of Rajasthan, is contesting as a BJP candidate from Jhalrapatan seat in Rajasthan assembly elections 2018. She also served as the CM of the state from 2003 to 2008, and is also the first female chief minister in Rajasthan. Raje has been elected thrice from the Jhalrapatan seat. She has served as an MP six times, and was elected as an MLA four times.

He was elected to the 14th Lok Sabha from the Dausa parliamentary constituency of Rajasthan in 2004. Often credited for working at the grassroot level, Pilot helped Congress revive the future of the state.

Gehlot is a silent worker but popular among the public. Considered close to Rahul Gandhi, Gehlot strengthened his position before the party chief while managing the campaign strategy in Gujarat. From 1998 to 2003 and from 2008 to 2013, Gehlot held the post of CM twice.
