Every year, 8th of March is observed as International Women’s Day in the world. The day is celebrated to commemorate the movement for women’s rights. It was first observed in 1909 in New York on February 28th. Later, it was started being celebrated on March 8. In 1975, the United Nations adopted the day as International Women’s Day.
