Happy Birthday, Deepika Padukone: Making of DeepVeer, in pictures

Ace actress Deepika Padukone celebrated her 35th birthday on Tuesday. Deepika married Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh in 2018 in a private ceremony at the beautiful destination of Lake Como, Italy. Deepika and Ranveer's chemistry both online and offline has been the talk of the town. The couple did several films together before tying the knot. 

From being co-stars to felling in love and then getting married, both Ranveer and Deepika share and an amazing love story. Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, Bajirao Mastani, and Padmaavat are the cinematic marvels that portrayed their passionate love on the big screen.

In an interview with Filmfare, Deepika disclosed how she wanted to be in a casual relationship with Ranveer, although it ended up with their marriage. She said, "When Ranveer and I met in 2012, I told him, "I realize there’s a connection between us. I really like you but I want to keep it open. I don’t want to commit. If I get attracted to different people I’m going to do my thing."

It is said that it was on the sets of the  Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela that the spark in their relationship grew. 

The couple had Konkani and Sindhi rituals at the wedding which was attended by their close friends and family.

The couple will soon be seen in the sports drama 83, in which Ranveer plays former India cricket captain Kapil Dev, and Deepika plays Kapil’s wife, Romi.
