Born as Divya Om Prakash Bharti on 25 February 1974, the actress starred in several commercially successful Hindi and Telugu language films in the early 1990s.
Divya Bharti married Sajid Nadiadwala.
She was a fiercely talented woman who acted over 14 films in two years of her career and acted with best of the superstars of that time.
Divya Bharti, at an early age of 18, rose to fame with her film Vishwatma and came to be known as the ‘Saat Samundar Girl’ among fans and the movie-going audience.
She delivered one hit after another in the year 1992 and early 1993 with films like Deewana, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Rishi Kapoor and Shola Aur Shabnam with Govinda.
