New Delhi: Thirtyseven-year-old Simon Wright earns £50,000 (Rs 50 lakh) a year and lives in a £300,000 ( Rs 3cr) Fulham flat in West London by simply sitting on the pavement next to his dog and a sleeping bag.
To the world outside, he looked like a homeless beggar as passers-by gave him cash having pity on him. They however didn't know that he was earning over £50,000 a year and living in a £300,000 council flat.
Simon is a professional beggar. He voluntarily opted this profession.His mother is a nurse and he was brought up with decent family morals.
His father was a cloth dyer but his mother divorced his father and married a betting shop manager Martin Wright, with whom she went on to have two more children, Agnetha and Gareth.
