Besides, strikes also hit Tehran’s Mehrabad Airport. The Mehr News Agency released images showing thick grey smoke billowing into the sky near what appeared to be a runway, indicating damage at the site.

Israel strikes Iran's presidential house office

Israel conducted air strikes on what it characterized as a key leadership hub of the Iranian government in Tehran. In an official statement, the Israel Defense Forces said the overnight mission, executed by the Israeli Air Force, was guided by accurate intelligence and focused on installations within a compound situated in central Tehran.

The military reported that multiple munitions struck several structures inside the complex, including the Presidential Office and the headquarters of the Supreme National Security Council. According to the statement, the location serves as a venue for senior security officials to hold high-level discussions and make critical decisions.

The IDF further stated that the operation also hit an institution involved in the training of Iranian military officers, as well as additional strategic facilities in the surrounding area.
