Readwood City, California: A Californian man Xavier McClinton fell off a bridge while he was allegedly trying to throw his wife off the bridge during an argument.
McClinton is charged with attempted murder and domestic violence in the attack in San Mateo County on Dec 16. .
The man was driving with his wife of eight years on the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge when the couple began to argue.
During the quarrel, McClinton drove his car off the side of the roadway in an apparent attempt to crash it into the Bay
California police said, that's when he grabbed his wife, pulled her out of the car and tried to throw her off the bridge. Several motorists who witnessed the incident, barely saved the woman by grabbing her legs before she plummeted 15 feet into the water below.
