Lahore: The body parts of a 23-year-old suicide bomber, who blew himself up at Wagah border with India last month killing 63 people, were buried at a graveyard here.
"After the identification of the terrorist, the Edhi Foundation yesterday buried the body parts of the terrorist at Miani Sahib graveyard," Lahore police spokesman Niyab Haider said.
The suicide bomber was identified as Hafiz Hanifullah of Mohmand village in Bajaur Agency, the tribal belt of the Kyber Pakhtaun Khawa province.
The law enforcement agencies have taken the family members of Hanifullah into custody and are investigating. He reportedly had left his house some two years ago and did not return," the police spokesman said.
Hanifullah joined the banned outfit Jamaatul Ahrar and received training in Afghanistan.
