US-President elect Donald Trump’s son Eric has said that Muslims will not need to register under the new administration.

During a conversation with Palestinian-American comedian Mohammed Amer, while on a flight to Scotland, Eric talked about the policies of the new government and promised that Muslims coming into the US from other countries will need not to register.

The Arab-American standup comedian said that he boarded his plane at Newark Liberty International Airport in New Jersey and was randomly chosen to sit next to non other than Eric.

Amer, who posted a selfie with Trump from the plane, said that he immediately introduced himself to Trump as a Muslim-American comedian and asked him about the reports of a potential nationwide Muslim registry.

On his Facebook page, the comedian wrote: “Good news guys Muslims will not have to check in and get IDs. That's what I was told.”

Describing Trump’s seat next to him as a gift from god, the post further reads, “I will be asking him a lot of questions on this trip to Glasgow, Scotland. Sometimes God just sends you the material.”

Donald Trump had during several rallies claimed that, if voted power, he will develop a system that will register and trace Muslims living across the US to check terror activities.
