On Monday night, three young Ugandan women lodged a police complaint, apparently with AAP support, seeking protection from traffickers.

A day after three Ugandan nationals alleged that they were being forced in drug/prostitution racket, the Delhi Police has registered a case under sections 4 and 5 of Immoral Trafficking Prevention Act.

Yesterday SDM had recorded statement of all three women. SDM has asked police to probe the matter.

After registering a case in this matter, police has moved to court for Ugandan's nationals production warrant.

Court has asked police to record the statement before MM under section 164 CrPC.

The women haven't mentioned any accused's name or their address. The protection home, where the victims are staying, refused permission to NGO (which was sent by police) to meet them.
