Nashik (Maharashtra): Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray and former BJP president Nitin Gadkari today praised each other, with the former saying that the Mumbai Worli Sea Link and Mumbai-Pune Expressway would never have been built, had Gadkari not been the minister.
Both the leaders were present at the inauguration of a Theme Park here.
Raj Thackeray said, industrialist Mukesh Ambani immediately sanctioned money for the Theme Park, when I came up with the proposal.
The design for the beautiful Theme Park on the banks of Godavari river has been created by Raj's friend Sandeep Shikare.
Raj Thackeray said, Mukesh Ambani was spellbound when Shikare came up with his design for the theme park.
The MNS supremo said, Mumbai Worli Sea Link and Pune Expressway would not have been built, had Gadkari not been the PWD minister in the Shiv Sena-BJP government.
"He (Gadkari) fulfilled Balasaheb's dream of building Maharashtra", said Raj Thackeray.
