New Delhi: In order to seek cooperation from Bangladesh to unravel Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) terror outfit's plans and to brief the authorities in Dhaka, a team of National Investigation Agency (NIA) will be visiting the neighboring country today.

As per official sources, a team headed by an officer of the rank of Inspector General, will be visiting Dhaka to discuss the activities of JMB cadres in Bangladesh and India today.

The visit comes after NIA made major headway in the case by arresting JMB's Chief commander for Burdwan blast, Sajid, a Bangladeshi national, Amjad Sheikh and Zia-ul-Haque who allegedly procured explosives and has of late been encouraging young men to join the terror group.

Sources say that JMB has a strong network in Bangladesh, hence NIA hopes to get details on it. It will also interrogate Sajid's brother who was arrested from Segunbagicha area of Dhaka this September.

India will also share with Bangladesh government details of its probe for preventive steps and necessary action needed to be taken by Dhaka to counter the threat posed by JMB.

National Security Advisor Ajit Doval had visited Burdwan to attain first-hand knowledge of the conspiracy being hatched by JMB to target Bangaldesh government from Indian soil.
