
Bangalore, Feb 11: The Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) today slashed the prices of Nandini milk variants and curds by Re one with effect from February 13 under a directive from the state government.
The KMF had hiked the prices by Rs four per litre on February nine, which had evoked criticism from consumers. The Nandini Toned Milk price will be as follows after downward revision of Re. one per litre in the respective Milk Unions territory.
In Bangalore, Mysore, Mandya, Tumkur, Kolar, Hassan and Shimoga milk price will come down to Rs.27 from Rs 28 per litre and in Dakshina Kannada, Raichur - Bellary, Dharwad and Belgaum Rs.28 per litre from Rs 29, the KMF said in a release issued here. Bijapur & Gulbarga, it will be Rs.29,per litre, it said.
