New Delhi, Feb 27: The National Investigation Agency Tuesday moved a Delhi court seeking custody of two jailed alleged operatives of banned terror outfit Indian Mujahideen for questioning over the Hyderabad twin blasts in which 16 people were killed.

District Judge I.S. Mehta issued production warrants for Wednesday against Syed Maqbool and Imran Khan, lodged in Tihar Jail.

The two have been in judicial custody after police arrested them in connection with the August 2012 Pune blasts.

The court directed the Tihar authorities to present both of them before it.

Maqbool and Khan had in July 2012 allegedly recced Hyderabad's Dilsukhnagar, where the Feb 21 blasts took place, on the instructions of Indian Mujahideen's Pakistan-based founder Riyaz Bhatkal, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) said.

Their interrogation will give information on the exact plan envisaged by Riyaz, the agency said.

The twin blasts in Hyderabad killed 16 people and injured 117.
