Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday made several attacks on the Congress party while addressing Kisan Kalyan Rally in Roza area of Shahjahanpur. Modi accused the opposition of running after PM's chair while ignoring the farmers, youths and poor people in the country. He also took a jibe on the opposition, including the Congress, for moving the no-confidence motion yesterday.
"I asked them the reason for moving the no-confidence motion, but they had no answers," he said.
Referring to Rahul Gandhi's 'hugging' antics in Lok Sabha during no-trust motion debate on Friday, PM Modi said the Congress leader's act showed how desperate he was for the PM's chair. "He can see nothing but PM's chair," the PM said.

11:58 am: The party workers and leaders of eight districts and farmers are likely to attend the rally. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had recently convened the meeting of officials of the eight districts while making preparation for the rally.
11:42 am: Waterproof tents have also been installed at the rally venue to avoid any disruption due to rain, officials said, adding elaborate security arrangements have been made.
11:34 am: According to reports, officers of Nation Security Guard (NSG) and Special Protection Group (SPG) have also been deployed around the venue. Officials said that the traffic on NH-24, between Shahjahanpur and Bareilley, will be diverted till the prime minister leaves.
11:27 am: Tight security arrangements have been made around the rally venue with deployment of security forces including Uttar Pradesh Police, CRPF, PAC, ITBP, BSF teams.
