This seems to be an attempt by a ‘wounded’ Pakistan who is looking for ways to avenge the ‘surgical strike’, which was carried out by the Indian Army on terror launch pads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir as a retaliatory action to the terrifying Uri attack that killed 20 Indian soldiers.

Since then, Pakistan has been trying to provoke India by targeting various place across the LoC and international border.

Pakistan resorted to heavy shelling at Jammu and Kashmir's Nowshera, Sundarbani and Pallanwala sectors since early morning on Friday.

Heavy mortar shelling by Pakistan Rangers continued till 6 a.m., in Lallai Chak, Pansar, Pahadpur and Londi villages where shells damaged over two dozen houses.

Over a dozen cattle have also perished in these villages. Reports said that over 400 families have migrated from these areas to safer locations.

Over the last one week, a six-year-old child was killed and 30 other civilians were injured in shelling from across the border.

On the other hand, Pakistan has reportedly suffered heavy damages across Kathua sector in Jammu after the BSF retaliated with heavy shelling and firing.
