The Congress party on Friday bagged 20 of the 24 wards in Raghogarh Municipal Council elections in Madhya Pradesh's Guna District. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won four wards.
Congress candidate Aarti Mahendra Sharma won president's post in Raghogarh Nagar Palika of Guna district.
The Congress has been in control of the Raghogarh-Vijaypur Municipal Council for the past two decades.
Meanwhile, counting of votes for Madhya Pradesh Municipal and Panchayat Elections is still underway.
While a voter turnout of 69.08 per cent was recorded in the Municipal bodies elections, the Panchayat elections recorded 59.59 per cent voting.
