Fondly known as the Missile Man of India , the former and perhaps one of the most popular presidents of India Dr Kalam won over the hearts of the billion Indians with his simple living and inspirational thinking. Former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam was born on October 15, 1931 and he passed away on July 27, 2015 while delivering a lecture at Indian Institute of Management, Shillong. Dr kalam is credited for India's nuclear missile arsenal.
