A Malaysian woman has accused a Delhi man of raping, cheating and having unnatural sex with her on pretext of marriage and also promising her an Indian citizenship.
According to Times of India report, the victim had made several trips to India to meet the man with whom she had first met on Facebook in September 2015.
The woman, the report said, had even paid the accused a huge amount of money in Malaysian currency after he promised to marry her, accept her child from previous marriage and get her an Indian citizenship. But later she realised that the accused had taken financial and physical advantage of her.
In her complaint, the victim said that she was in touch with the man on Facebook from September 2015 to May 2016. She also came to India and during her 15-day stay here, she developed physical relations with the man.
"Not only this, the accused also made a video recording and clicked her nude photos,” she said in her complaint.
During her second trip, the victim said, the man obtained her signature on a blank piece of paper. She had also given 15,000 ringgits (around Rs 2.4 lakh) and two diamond-studded gold rings to him.
The woman, report said, kept transferring money to the man from time to time, but the man kept making excuses that he was trying to convince his family as theirs was going to be an inter-faith marriage.
On realising that she was being used by the man for his needs, the lady filed a complaint with the police following which additional sessions judge Ramesh Kumar-II framed the charges under IPC Sections 376 (2) (n) (raping a woman repeatedly), 377 (unnatural sex) and 420 (cheating).
