At least five people, including 4 children, were killed and at least nine others injured after a three-storey building collapsed in northwest Delhi's Ashok Vihar on Wednesday. The injured have been rushed to Deep Chand Bandhu hospital.
Several persons are still feared trapped under the debris. Rescue teams are working at the spot.
A call about the incident was received at 9.25 am and six fire tenders were rushed to the spot near Sawan Park area.
Two teams of the NDRF have been mobilised for rescue operations, a NDRF spokesperson said.

According to preliminary investigation, the building was declared unsafe by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). Continuous rains for the past couple of rains may have triggered the collapse, police said, adding that further probe is on.
