Congress MPs raise slogans against Mamata Banerjee in Parliament

The fragility of opposition unity against PM Modi was once again exposed on Wednesday when the Congress MPs raised slogans against Mamata Banerjee in connection with  Saradha chit fund case in front of former Congress president Sonia Gandhi.

The Congress MPs confronted the West Bengal chief minister on Saradha chit fund case in presence of media persons.

An enraged Mamata Banerjee raised the issue with Sonia Gandhi and lodged her protest.

Sonia Gandhi, on her part, tried to pacify Mamata Banerjee by saying that they may target each other but they were still friends.

However, Mamata’s anger refused to die down and the TMC chief told Sonia Gandhi in clear terms that she would never forget her insult by the Congress MPs.

Interestingly, Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chaudhary launched a scathing attack on TMC in Lok Sabha during the discussion on banning of unregulated scheme bill which was supported by his party.
