The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today declared the results of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) 2017.

JEE(M) was conducted in two parts- Paper I and Paper II. Paper-I (BE/B Tech) was conducted in both computer- based (online) and paper-pen (offline) mode while Paper II (B Arch/B Planning) was conducted in pen-paper mode only.

The examinations were held on April 2 (offline) and April 8 and 9 (online). Over 10.2 lakh students had appeared for the exam at 1,781 centres across India.

The results are available on the official website of JEE mains at jeemain.nic.in

The results include the JEE (Main) Paper 1 score and rank and also the list of top 2,20,000 candidates eligible for JEE (Advanced).

This year, there shall be no weightage for Class 12 marks in calculating the ranks.

For the candidates to qualify for IITs/NITs/IIITs and such other CFTIs whose admissions are based on the JEE (Advanced) /JEE(Main) ranks, they should secure at least 75 per cent marks in Class 12 exams, or be in the top 20 percentile.

For SC/ST students, the qualifying marks would be 65 per cent in the class 12 examination.

The CBSE had on April 18 declared the answer keys and OMR sheets of the examination.
