Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal today met superstar Kamal Haasan at the latter's residence in Chennai. He was welcomed by the actor's daughter Akshara Haasan.
After coming out of the meeting, Arvind Kejriwal told media persons that Kamal Haasan should join politics. The Delhi Chief Minister also added that he and the Tamil superstar discussed all issues including corruption.
"Had an excellent meeting, we exchanged our ideas. He (Kamal Haasan) should enter into politics. We will continue to discuss and meet each other in future also," Arvind Kejriwal said.
The Aam Aadmi Party had earlier indicated that the duo will have closed door "political discussions".
The development comes days after the actor hinted that he is planning to take the political plunge.
The meet has fuelled speculations of Haasan making his political debut with the AAP. The superstar had been opposing the ruling AIADMK in Tamil Nadu, whose political adversary DMK has voiced support for him.
