Three soldiers were injured on Wednesday when militants attacked an army convoy in Kashmir's Kupwara district.
Police said militants attacked the convoy at Kralgund near Handwara town.
Out of the three, one was in critical condition and was airlifted to the Army Hospital in Srinagar, a senior official said.
This is the second attack on an army convoy in the past one month. On August 17, militants had launched a similar attack on an army convoy on the national highway at Khawjabagh Baramulla that left two soldiers and a police man dead. The militants had then fled from the spot.
Army is moving its vehcle at night in order to avoid confrintation with local protestors.
Valley has been simmering since the death of Hizbul militant Burhan Wani on July 8. At least 74 persons, including two policemen, have been killed in the nearly two months of violence. Over 12,000 have been injured.
