During the proceedings, the prosecution cited the viral video and told the court that the accused had given narcotic-like substance to its patrons in the hotel and they wanted to probe the issue further. The prosecution also told the court that prima facie, it has been found that the accused used social media to invite patrons to the hotel to consume narcotics substances, alcohol and smoke cigarettes. CM Shinde directs to make Pune drug-free

Taking cognisance of the matter, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Monday spoke to Pune police commissioner Amitesh Kumar and directed strict action against the illegal pubs. CM Shinde asked him to bulldoze all illegal structures linked to the drug menace. He also directed renewed action against peddlers to make Pune, a drug-free city.
