A massive fire broke out on Monday in Pune's Kundalwadi area in Maharashtra. Six fire engines were rushed to the spot to douse the fire. A video from the spot shows thick smoke billowing out of the factory were thefire broke out. No casualties have been reported yet and the reason behind the fire is yet to be ascertained.

Earlier on Sunday, the fire department said a fire broke out at a shop in Shinde Nagar in the Bavdhan area of Maharashtra's Pune.
An official said a huge fire engulfed a steel company in Maharashtra’s Palghar district on Sunday night. There are no reports of any injuries in the fire that erupted in the factory in Boisar area around 10:15 pm, the official said, quoting District Disaster Management Officer Vivekanand Kadam.
An official with the Boisar MIDC fire station told PTI that three fire engines were rushed to the spot to douse the fire. Huge plumes of flames rising from the factory could be seen from a long distance. The cause of the blaze is being probed, the official said.
In another fire incident on Sunday night, a fire broke out at a ready-made garments shop in Delhi's Shahdara on Sunday night, an official of the Delhi Fire Services said.
DFS received a call regarding a fire near Gandhi Nagar Police Station at 8:47 pm, the official said. "We immediately dispatched 10 fire tenders to the site. Firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control swiftly," he said. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
